In this post, I am going to share the name of few books which I found to be most helpful in preparing for java interviews.

1- Headfirst Java

This is my first book when I started learning java.In interviews preparation, it is very important that one should know the basic concepts.This book follows a practical approach for explaining the core java concepts.So many real time examples are given to make the concepts clear.I recommend this for everyone who wants to start learning java from basics.

2-OCA/OCP JAVA SE 7 Programmer 1 & 2

Author-Kathy Sierra & Bert Bates

This book is also from the same writer and is one best book when you wants to learn core java fundamentals with in depth.It was recommended by my colleague when I asked him about the interview preparation. This book covers almost all the core java topics along with questions and answers.

3- JAVA/J2EE Job Interview Companion

Author-K. Arulkumaran & A. Sivayini

I got this book a few days back only and found it very helpful for interviews.The content of this book is in the form of question and answers.It covers almost all the  frequent questions asked in interviews on Core Java ,J2EE ,SQL and other basic topics.As it is in the form of Q& A so concepts are explained to the point.This book is the best option when you have less time for interviews preparation.
